These are the systems that have a fraction of a second to save you, so a warning light here is not a dashboard annoyance you can live with. A lit SRS light usually means the airbags will not fire when they are needed. A lit ABS light can mean you lose anti-lock braking, traction and stability control in one hit. In New Zealand both are an automatic WOF (Warrant of Fitness) failure, and for good reason.

We do not just clear the code and send you off hoping. After a deployment the module locks with a stored crash record, and that only gets reset once the deployed airbags and pretensioners are actually replaced and the system tests live. Anything less is a light that comes straight back and a car that will not protect you in the next crash. So every job gets full diagnostics and hardware testing. If a module is genuinely beyond saving, we can program and adapt a new or second-hand control unit to your car and save you a serious chunk against dealer pricing.
Take ABS as the everyday example: a single corroded wheel-speed sensor connector can trip the light and knock out anti-lock braking, traction and stability control all at once. Read that with a generic scanner and you are often still guessing which part is at fault. We use dealer-level tools to confirm the actual failure, then fix it so it stays fixed.
